“DIFFICULT ROADS OFTEN LEAD TO BEAUTIFUL DESTINATIONS.” A drug is any chemical substance that causes a change in an organism’s physiology or psychology when consumed. The use of illegal drugs or the use of prescription or over-the-counter drugs for purposes other than those for which they are meant to be used, or in excessive amounts. Youth de-addiction and rehabilitation club(YDR) is completely a student driven club of Service Motto volunteers(sm) , K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology .The club mainly focuses to relieve of the victims to come out of the addiction and gives a surrounding that help them cheer and make new peers which can distract them from their harmful habit. YDR has done its first event on 21/09/2022.It is said that dancing can improve condition of heart and lungs and is a physical activity that gives an enthusiastic feel. A dance performance was given by our Lite Footers dance team of KSRCT on the occasion of this event. More than 15 interested volunteers including the victims have participated in this event. Creating awareness among the students and the victims can help them understand the health effects of drugs. The health effects of drugs include Skin rash or dermatitis,Diarrhea,Dizziness,Drowsiness,Dry mouth,Headache.A common talk about drugs and it’s awareness were given to the students which was very useful to the gathering.
